“We’re excited to announce that beginning February 1st, Onelife Fitness is acquiring the Gold’s Gym in Sterling along with the members of the former Gold’s Gym Ashburn club,” the message read. “Onelife Fitness began working with the Gold’s Gym Ashburn and Sterling ownership as soon as the Ashburn club closed due to the impact of the past 24 months.” This included allowing Ashburn Gold’s members to use the Brambleton Onelife in recent months.
Onelife is the largest health club brand in the DC region, with more than 20 area locations. There are 40+ locations nationally.
The move will also provide a solution to Ashburn area Gold’s members who were frustrated when the Ashburn Gold’s Gym closed down last September.
