THE FIRST IN-PERSON CES in two years continues full swing into Wednesday. In fact, today is the big day for consumer tech’s premier showcase. After one full day of press previews and media-only events, Wednesday is the day the expo hall opens. The doors of the Las Vegas Convention Center are thrown ajar and the masses stream in to gawk at the walls of televisions, the buzzing of drones, and the mazes of smart home refrigerators. Exactly how formidable those “masses” are remains to be seen, since many attendees have decided to stay home this year.
We here at WIRED have decided to stay home too; we’re covering the show remotely this year. We have prepared a full day of livestreams with conversations and panels from industry leaders and WIRED reporters. Join us at WIRED HQ.
And of course we’re reporting every fascinating tidbit of CES news here in our liveblog, which will continue to run all day today. New entries will appear at the top of the feed below. You can also jump to yesterday’s entries.
Latest Update 11:17 am PST Wednesday: We’ve added news about the Fossil x Razer collaboration and the Bird Buddy feeder. We’ll continue to update this page with the latest news all day Wednesday, so come back often.
